Chlorine dioxide production systems for water works and cooling towers

Chlorine dioxide is a very effective and proven disinfectant for drinking water, cooling water, swimming pool water and process water. It is characterised by its high disinfection capacity, kills bacteria (e.g. legionella) and eliminates the biofilm in the pipework.

The chlorine dioxide production systems of the WADES series generate chlorine dioxide without pressure according the acid/sodium chlorite process. The production and dosage of the chlorine dioxide solution is PLC controlled and monitored by conductivity measurement and level sensors.

The systems have industriell design and are characterised by their large working reliability and their easy start-up procedure. A detailed graphical display of the generation process on a touch-screen monitor and a complete documention of all generation steps are further advantages of the WADES concept.

The use of WADES chlorine dioxide generation systems in cooling towers can minimise the costs for biocides/disinfectants. WADES systems offer a reliable protection against Legionella bacteria and can be delivered in 4 different sizes (reactor volume: 50, 100, 200 or 500 liters) as single system or twin system.
